Nurturing Cultural Heritage and Language Skills
The Nepali School project is a cherished initiative by our organization, dedicated to preserving and celebrating Nepali culture and language. With the commitment of passionate Nepali volunteers, this project offers children the opportunity to explore the Nepali language, traditional dance, and artistic expressions. Currently hosted every Sunday in Oslo, the project is also expanding to include online language classes, ensuring accessibility to all.
Project Goals:
Language Preservation: The primary objective of the Nepali School is to ensure the preservation of the Nepali language among younger generations. Through engaging and interactive lessons, children are equipped with the linguistic skills to communicate effectively in Nepali.
Cultural Education: In addition to language, the project introduces students to the rich tapestry of Nepali culture. They have the opportunity to explore traditional dance forms, art, and other aspects of Nepali heritage, fostering a strong sense of cultural pride and identity.
Accessibility and Inclusivity: By offering online language classes, the Nepali School project ensures that children, regardless of their geographical location, can benefit from the educational resources and cultural experiences it provides.
Key Highlights:
Dedicated Volunteers: The project is made possible by the commitment of passionate Nepali volunteers who generously share their time, knowledge, and cultural expertise with the younger generation.
