The Basic Norwegian Language Class project is a vital initiative by our organization, designed to equip our members with the fundamental skills needed to read and understand basic Norwegian information. The project’s primary aim is to empower our community, enabling them to navigate essential aspects of life in Norway, including emergency notices from the government, weather alerts, communications from government agencies, and election information.

The Nepali School project is a cherished initiative by our organization, dedicated to preserving and celebrating Nepali culture and language. With the commitment of passionate Nepali volunteers, this project offers children the opportunity to explore the Nepali language, traditional dance, and artistic expressions. Currently hosted every Sunday in Oslo, the project is also expanding to include online language classes, ensuring accessibility to all.

The Everest Football Tournament is a heartwarming annual event organized by our organization to commemorate the life of Kanchan Karki, a Nepali student tragically lost to a lightning strike in 2009. The tournament serves as a fitting tribute to Kanchan’s memory, emphasizing the values: youth, sports, and health. Each year, this event draws approximately 250 participants, creating an atmosphere of camaraderie, competition, and community spirit.

The Children’s Talent Hunt project is a vibrant cultural initiative by our organization, designed to inspire and engage the second generation of Nepali youth living in Norway. With a multifaceted approach, this project aims to not only acquaint them with the rich tapestry of Nepali culture, literature, art, and language but also to facilitate cultural exchange with other communities across Norway.
