Becoming a member of NRNA NCC Norway is your opportunity to actively engage in our mission, connect with like-minded individuals, and participate in initiatives that make a positive impact within our community. Join us, and together, we can create a stronger, more united, and empowered Nepali diaspora in Norway.

REGISTERED MEMBER

Norwegian/foreign citizens of Nepali origin or Nepali citizens living more than two years in Norway, except Nepali students and citizens deputed in diplomatic missions in Norway are eligible for General Member of the association.

Required documents: Passport, Residence Permit or Proof of residence from National Population Registry, Payment Receipt

The data registered for the membership will be managed and stored by NRNA ICC after membership verification by President, General Secretary and Treasurer of NRNA NCC Norway.

  1. Voting Rights and Leadership Opportunities: As a member, you have the privilege of participating in the democratic process by exercising your voting rights during elections. This not only includes the ability to vote for candidates but also the opportunity to stand as a candidate for the Executive Committee. Your involvement can directly shape the leadership and direction of the organization, ensuring that your voice is heard and your contributions are recognized.

  2. Networking and Community Engagement: Membership provides a platform for networking and engagement within the Nepali community, fostering connections with individuals who share common goals and interests. You’ll have the chance to collaborate with like-minded people, build relationships, and collectively work towards the betterment of the community.

Membership fee: 150kr/term (a term consists two years)

The amount of membership fee from the regional members remained after paying to ICC will be utilized for the activities in that region.

ASSOCIATE MEMBER

Nepali citizens who are engaged in various professions and living less than two years with temporary resident permit in Norway, students in Norwegian academic institutions can apply for Associate membership of the Association.

Required documents: Passport, Residence Permit or Proof of residence from National Population Registry, Payment Receipt.

The data registered for the membership will be managed and stored by NRNA NCC Norway and have access to President, General Secretary and Treasurer.

Community Connection: Becoming a member of this organization offers the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals within the Nepali community in Norway, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie. You’ll have access to a network of support, creating meaningful relationships and friendships that can last a lifetime.

  2. Active Participation: Membership allows you to actively engage in our mission and initiatives, giving you a platform to contribute to the betterment of the community and make a positive impact. You can participate in projects and events.

  3. Access to Resources: Membership grants you access to valuable resources, information, and events that can enhance your personal and professional development. From workshops and educational programs to exclusive updates and opportunities, you’ll have access to a wealth of knowledge and tools to support your growth within the community

Membership fee: 100kr/year

The amount of membership fee from the regional members will be utilized for the activities in that region.

CHILDREN MEMBER

Children between the age group 6-17 years can be provided Children membership of the Association.

Required documents:

The data registered for the membership will be managed and stored by NRNA NCC Norway and have access to President, General Secretary and Treasurer.

 

 

  1. Free Access to Nepali School: Child members enjoy the valuable benefit of free access to Nepali school, where they can participate in language and cultural classes. This not only helps them preserve their Nepali heritage but also promotes cultural understanding and connections within the community.

  2. Educational and Cultural Enrichment: Membership provides children with opportunities for educational and cultural enrichment. They can engage in various events, workshops, and activities that enhance their understanding of Nepali traditions, art, and history while fostering a strong sense of cultural identity.

  3. Community Building and Friendships: Child members can build friendships and connections with peers in the Nepali community, fostering a sense of belonging. They’ll have the chance to participate in community events and social gatherings, creating lasting friendships and a support network.
